A party of North London Ramblers travelled to Wales to negotiate the Slate Trail. There were 2 groups: the difficult long-distance walkers and the easier medium-distance walkers. The first group finished the three segments of the slate trail: 7.2 miles from Bethesda to Llanberis, 10.3 miles from Nantlle to Beddgelert, and 11.0 miles from Capel Curig to Bethesda. The less strenuous group hiked Capel Curig to Ogwen Cottage, Dinorwig quarry to Llanberis, and Rhyd Ddu to Beddgelert. The party experienced Snowdonia at its finest thanks to the wonderful weather and stunning sights.
