We walked around Ruthin last week to Llanfair DC and back again, although a different route. Jackie should have led it, but with pulling her calf muscle the week before, she couldn’t do it, so Bob was asked to take over. He did it in his usual manner, not going from the map and just being Bob. Coffee and cake was had at the craft centre afterwards, which was very nice. Jackie met them in the car at the church in Llanfair DC, where they had their lunch. We had 12 walkers going over fields, tracks and quiet roads. The weather was also kind to us apart from 1 shower, quite heavy just as they got to the lunch stop.
