13 of us started today’s walk from the Bluebell Inn in Halkyn; we walked over fields and footpaths through Halkyn Castle Wood and eventually got to the top of Moel y Gaer. It was a sunny day to start with, but the dark clouds came over, but fortunately we didn’t get any rain. We went into the Bluebell Inn for coffees and soft drinks before heading for home. A great walk, thanks to our leader Bob. It ended up being about 5.2 miles.
